LIVE IN MATERNITY NURSES

A live in maternity nurse will live with the family either 5 or 6 nights per week. Their role is to take care of all duties associated with the baby, and of course, mum. This usually includes support with the night feeds, babies laundry and keeping the nursery clean and tidy, helping you develop a routine (if you would like) and generally allowing you to get the support and rest you need.

NB the average price of a maternity nurse for a single baby is between £135-£165 per 24hrs, for twins it is £185-£210 and for triplets it is £200-£220.

All maternity nurses are self employed so you don’t need to worry about tax or NI at all. Phew!
