NIGHT NURSES Night nurses do just that - they come at night. This means you do not need to share your home with someone on a 24hr basis but you do have the opportunity to catch up on your sleep at night. If you are breast feeding the nurse will bring baby to you so you can do the feed, then they will deal with the winding, nappy changing and re-settling. If you are bottle feeding or expressing you can sleep straight through safe in the knowledge that your baby is being fed and cared for by an experienced nurse. 10pm-7am overnight care, price per night £140.00 Click a title below for more information: NB the average price of a maternity nurse for a single baby is between £135-£165 per 24hrs, for twins it is £185-£210 and for triplets it is £200-£220. Don’t forget that every new mum is entitled to the government grant of £190 for all babies due after April 09 http://campaigns.direct.gov.uk/money4mum2be/ All maternity nurses are self employed so you don’t need to worry about tax or NI at all. Phew! |
