PART-TIME MATERNITY CARE

This is the ideal package if you feel that a little support at the varying stages would benefit you most. An experienced ‘troubleshooter’ will visit your home at the three stages of your choice; these are most usually:

• Very early days, when you return from hospital to help with first bath, first feed at home, settling for the night
  
  
• 8 week point, when baby is spending more time awake during the days, you may feel the need to tweak certain aspects of your daily routine or simply ask…”is this normal…”
  
  
• 12-16 week point, by this time you may want to think about the nights, possibly dropping a late feed or ask about ways to improve night time routines and encourage sleeping through.

It is totally up to you when you have the support. Based on 3 x 24 hours, either taken as 1 x 72 hr period or as 3 separate

24hr days over a period of time £600.00

NB the average price of a maternity nurse for a single baby is between £135-£165 per 24hrs, for twins it is £185-£210 and for triplets it is £200-£220.

All maternity nurses are self employed so you don’t need to worry about tax or NI at all. Phew!
