Claire: - was an excellent Maternity Nurse; she was calm and organised and made our first few weeks bearable, settling our little one into a sensible routine that not only suited the baby but fell in with the rest of the family.

Nicky - Super Nanny, Trouble-shooter, sleep consultant, Mary Poppin’s, by whatever name you want to call her she was wonderful. Nicky could appear in the Nanny knows best show and if there was a competition to be Maternity Nurse of the year she should win it. We originally had a 3hrs consultation in my own home, from this we discussed a plan to deal with my sons bad sleeping and feeding habits I was at my wits end. After a couple of nights Nicky had our son sleeping and feeding 4 hourly. To get a few nights good sleep in the knowledge that he was in such good hands was incredible.

Deearna:- Our son was suffering with Reflux and was a very unhappy baby. Each feed took up to an hour and a half to complete. Deearna came to our rescue and showed us techniques to help him. She took him for long walks once a day enabling me to get a few hours uninterrupted rest which was wonderful.

Sue sent us a Maternity Nurse when our twins were born, at first we were not sure how it would work with someone living in our home twenty-four hours a day. I don’t know how we would have coped without Jo, she helped me to plan our day (and night) and helped with the introduction of the twins to their sister. Intuitively Jo knew when to give us private time and when to come to our aid.

I was driven to searching the internet for some sort of help and support for my daughter who was becoming exhausted coping with 18 month old Oscar and 3-week old Zachary who had contracted a viral infection soon after birth.

I found Maternal Response with ease and couldn't in my wildest dreams have found a more sympathetic, understanding response than that of Sue Mackender. Within 48 hours Sue sent us the most amazing gentle, kind and knowledgeable maternity nurse for 10 days who helped return the family to normality.

We shall certainly use Maternal Response again if necessary and couldn't recommend their services more highly.

I have never found an agency so reactive, Maternal Response worked through the weekend to secure emergency help for me. Sue understood my needs and my worries and found me the perfect person.
